Mandate
CME is the primary business association for manufacturers in the
province (and across the country) with a mandate to improve the
competitiveness of manufacturers and to increase exports.
Network Potential With CME
CME provides value to member companies by joining forces towards a
common goal. Manufacturers in the province use the membership in CME to
both identify a need to change an external business element or to
address their internal organization and then to work with others in
addressing the change. There is potential for any one company to
influence the business environment in which we operate here in Manitoba
and in fact in Canada. As a member, you can make a difference!
Areas of Assistance
CME can assist you as a manufacturer in areas such as productivity
improvement, quality, technical awareness, and exports/imports
including border issues, environment, human resources, workers
compensation, taxation, training, and much more.
Resources Available
We meet with government at all levels to improve the business
environment for our members. We are also connected to numerous support
services for manufacturers such as the universities and colleges,
technical advice providers, and government support agencies along with
a variety of other support providers in almost any area of need.

CME is all about adding value for members and delivering services such as training which is focused on the needs of manufacturers and exporters and delivered in a very practical, hands-on way.
