Now, after more than a year of economic recession, demand is beginning to pick up – largely fuelled by government fiscal and monetary stimulus. At the same time, Canadian businesses face significant challenges that will constrain their ability to take advantage of rising demand and slow Canada’s economic rebound.

provinces have concluded an agreement with the US administration to
improve access to US procurement markets for Canadian manufacturers and
exporters is positive, but the fight against Buy American restrictions
must go on, according to Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME).
